With the lockdown looming last week and business slowing down, I decided to make some more time for the hobby and (re)start some projects that could lead to some play time with the kids. So… I ordered the latest Adeptus Titanicus boxed set from Games Workshop (awesome value). This way I can build a nice maniple with one Reaver and four warhounds, while starting some small games against the other Reaver + the Cerastii (Cerastuses?)
But at the moment, I have partially re-painted my Proteus Warhounds with a less flashy and more mottled green (a la Legio Solaria), and made some good use of the cheap k40 chinese laser-cutter that we have bought last Christmas. I designed 8mm-scale terrain in 3mm MDF!
I tried to balance the level of detail with the engraving and cut time. I have not tried to paint them at the moment.
I opened a shop on Etsy to sell the svg files (and maybe later sell assembled kits), but Etsy has killed my shop a few hour after opening without notice nor explanation. So, instead I have put a ZIP archive on CGTrader with all the SVG files. If you are interested, it’s here:
